ゴールドの細い輪、コロンと丸い数珠玉、全体を締める小さな黒ビーズのバランスが、軽やかな印象のピアス。夏はTシャツ・冬はニットとシーズン問わず、幅広いコーディネートにマッチしやすい、一つあると便利なアイテムです。


【数珠玉 ジュズダマ：Coix lacryma-jobi】
熱帯アジア原産で、古くから日本に自生するイネ科の多年草。身近な水辺に群生し、秋に熟した実は、灰白・セピア・茶褐・黒褐など様々な色になります。実には自然と穴が開くため、子供がネックレスにして遊んだり、日本では念珠、東南アジアでは装飾品としても利用されてきました。お茶で知られる「ハトムギ」の原種でもあります。


【数珠玉のピアス】
無数の色、漆や陶器のようなツヤをもつ数珠玉を、一粒一粒選んでペアリングし、世界に一組だけのピアスを作りました。自然のぬくもりある素材に金属やビーズを合わせ、個性的ながら洋服にも和服にも合わせやすい、シンプルなデザインを目指しています。身につけるだけでほっこりする自分のためのデイリー使い、いつもと違うあの人のための贈り物にも。

The balance of thin gold hoop, round shape of Job’s tears, and the small black beads gives the earrings a light impression. 【Job’s tears ：Coix lacryma-jobi】
A perennial plant of the Poaceae family, native to tropical Asia, has been growing wild in Japan for centuries. The berries grow in clusters near water and ripen in autumn, turning various colors such as grayish white, sepia, brown, and blackish brown. The berries naturally have holes in them, which have been used by children as necklaces, as prayer beads in Japan, and ornaments in Southeast Asia. It is also the original species of "astragalus membranaceus" （a type of wheat grass） known for its tea.

【Job’s tears earrings】
The beads, which come in a myriad of colors and has a luster like ceramics, are individually selected and paired to create a one and only pair of earrings. By combining the warmth of natural materials with metals and beads, we aim to create simple designs that are uniquely diverse yet easy to match with both clothing and kimono.
