はじめまして、ムジナの庭（アトリエミショー）オンラインショップへようこそ。
【これまでとこれから】
アトリエミショーは、2009年に「植物と哲学の実験工房」として京都で活動をスタート。嗅ぐ・触る・味わうなど、身体感覚を取り戻す植物の楽しみ方や心身のケア方法をご紹介しながら、人にとっての心地よさや解決の難しい社会問題を考えるきっかけ作りを続けてきました。2014年に拠点を東京へ移してからは、アロマを活用した精神疾患へのアプローチ等、心の問題に積極的に取り組んでいます。
2020年9月に、一般社団法人Atelier Michauxとして法人化。物や人の「REVIVE」「再生」「リスタート」をテーマに、活動内容を一部変更しました。
2021年3月、福祉施設「ムジナの庭」を開設。当ショップの売上は全て「ムジナの庭」で働く方たちの工賃となります。
「ムジナの庭」という名前には、ムジナ（アナグマ）の掘った巣穴に、タヌキやキツネがいつの間にか棲み着いているように、「それぞれが得意なことで活躍しながら、ともに暮らしていける場を作りたい」という仲間たちの想いが込められています。
【REVIVE（再活性化）への想い】
私たちは、日常生活で見過ごされているもの（時に捨てられたり、忘れ去られたもの）を「REVIVE」させ、再び物・人・環境が輝きを取り戻し、循環していく「再生プロジェクト」を行っています。
刈り取られた雑草、しばらく使われていなかった布、経年変化によって修復が必要になった建築など。
素材が歩んできたストーリーを受け継ぎ、新しい形や価値を生み出すことで、誰かにとっての小さな幸せに繋げていけたら、人の心や生活も自然と豊かになっていくのでは。当ショップの商品も、そんな想いでお届けしています。
「ムジナの庭」では、毎月第3土曜（月によって変動）にオープンアトリエを開催しています。現物を手に取ってみたい方、「ムジナの庭」を訪れてみたい方は、Facebook・インスタグラム内のイベント情報をご覧ください。たくさんの皆さまにお会いできるのを、楽しみにお待ちしております。
Greetings and welcome to the Mujina's Garden Atelier Michaux Online Shop.
【Past and Future】
In 2009, Atelier Michaux was started in Kyoto as Experimental Workshop of Plants and Philosophy. We have continued to create opportunities for people to think about comfort and difficult-to-solve social issues while introducing ways to enjoy plants that restore physical sensation and care for the body and mind through smelling, touching, tasting, and other methods. Since moving to Tokyo in 2014, we have been actively working on mental health issues, including the use of aromatherapy to treat mental illness.
In September of 2020, Atelier Michaux incorporated as a general incorporated association. Some activities have been changed in that we turned our theme into "REVIVE," "regenerate," and "restart" of things and people.
In March of 2021, we established a welfare facility now known as Mujina's Garden. We use plant based materials for the products we make.（All proceeds will be used to pay wages for the workers at "Mujina's Garden"）.
The name "Mujina's Garden" （mujina is the animal, badger, in Japanese） was chosen because we wanted to create a place where people from different backgrounds can live together while being active in what they are good at. Kind of like if raccoons and foxes somehow find a home in a den dug by a badger and started living together.
【REVIVE our thoughts on （Regeneration）】
Our goal is to 「REVIVE」 things that are thrown away and forgotten on a daily basis. By engaging in the 『Regeneration Project』we hope that bringing back these things to the people and environment will help the overall environment shine and circulate better.
These things are such as weeds that have been cut, fabrics that have not been used for some time, and architecture that needs to be restored due to age.
We wanted to be able to continue to tell the story of the things, to be able to create a new shape and worth of the things, and if we can connect it to someone to create a small happiness, we believe that it will bring a better quality to the body and life. Our products are also delivered with this concept in mind.
Here at Mujina's Garden, every 3rd Saturday of the month （may change depending on the month）our Open Atelier is being held.
